The Tiffany technique was introduced at the end of the 19th centuary and represents a natural evolution in the leading of glass in that it made it possible to create three-dimensional objects of smaller dimesions such as containers and lamps.
Single pieces of glass are edged wth copper tape and soldered permitting the creation of curved surfaces.
